I think this song is quite straightforward in delivering it's golden messages, which is, among others, to always stay true with yourselves, regardless of what happens or what the others think of you. The most important thing to achieve total satisfaction in life is to be able to do things that we want to do, not what others think we're supposed to do.

You would see that there's a verse that I wrote in Italic. "God is great but sometimes life ain't good." I used to have issues with this line because I thought, as a Muslim, that was not a good thing to say. Over the time, I think that I should stop taking it so literally. Besides, the entailing line expressly and impliedly indicates that the line is metaphorical in nature. I am positive of that. Besides, the meaning of that line is basically about how unpredictable life is. Sometimes you could work your butt off for something, but you never came close to the achievement of the desired goal. It has nothing to do with insulting God or whatsoever. Well, that's just my opinion.
