PURCHASING MANAGER (<b>Port Klang</b>, Selangor) - Kuala Lumpur <b>...</b> Posted: 03 Mar 2010 12:00 AM PST Position: PURCHASING MANAGER Nature Of Business: Producer and Marketer of Food Agricultural, Financial & Industrial Products Location: Port Klang, Selangor Salary: RM6, 500 Job Description: _ Provide strategic and tactical leadership required of the purchasing manager (materials planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control and distribution). _ Driving continuous improvement in on-time delivery, cost savings, productivity, and inventory reduction. _ Developing, implementation, and monitoring metrics to ensure production deliverable s are achieved. _ Effectively manage inventory levels to satisfy internal customer demand, while maintaining inventory targets. _ Direct the key sourcing and purchasing duties, and negotiation. _ Source for competitive suppliers to lower total costs while maintaining the integrity of our products supplied. Requirement: _ Degree in Business Administration, Economics or any other related field. _ Minimum 5 years of working experience in purchasing and procurement (planning, & scheduling, quality, warehouse, transportation and inventories).
