| Fire Damages Orphanage In <b>Hulu Kelang</b> - Malaysian Digest Posted: 28 Jun 2013 07:09 PM PDT | | | Saturday, 29 June 2013 10:09 | HULU KELANG: Part of an orphanage in Hulu Kelang, Selangor, was destroyed by fire last night. A spokesperson from the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said they received a report on the incident at 9.57pm, several minutes after the fire broke out. No injuries or fatalities were reported in the fire which was believed to have started on the top floor of the three-storey building, he said. The cause of the fire and total losses incurred are still being investigated, he added. The number of orphans residing in the building is yet to be ascertained at press time. Two fire engines from the Ampang Jaya and Pandan Indah stations were deployed to the scene. - Bernama | |
