cakeART: Krismas di Klang Posted: 17 Jan 2013 06:55 AM PST Home for the holidays.... back in Klang where we grew up. Eat , drink and be merry. Decided to make a personalized christmas tree for Ma since she had quite a few kids attending the party. Baubles with their names and stars for Zach since that's his favourite shape since he was tiny. The pine cones were so fun to do. Roll a brown piece of fondant into an oval shape then hold the tip of a small round nozzle at an angle to make semicircle indentations to create the look of a pine cone. Then dust it with metalic gold lustre dust. There you go... one down 19 to go! Sivam rolling the red berries (thanks darling, there were hundreds to roll!! excellent effort for a 1st timer). And seasoned cakeART elf Anita doing the more intricate stuff like rolling branches, assembling the leaves and berries for me. Zach loves grandma and Tata's house! and it was extra fun this year with best friend Ashley.... |
